Privacy Policy

Kael Defense ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of all data processed through our services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you interact with our website (www.kaeldefense.com), request a pilot analysis, or use our fraud detection infrastructure.

We operate as an early-stage provider of offline, forensic fraud detection tools for financial institutions (primarily NBFCs). Our core service involves retrospective analysis of historical lending and borrower data provided by clients with no live integration, no cloud storage of client data, and no access to personal identifiable information (PII) beyond what is strictly necessary for the agreed analysis.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information required to provide our services and respond to inquiries:

  • Website visitors: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time/date of access, and referral sources (via standard server logs and analytics tools like Google Analytics).

  • Pilot / demo requests: Name, email address, phone number (optional), company name, job title, and any message you provide when filling out forms or contacting us.

  • Pilot analysis data: Anonymized or pseudonymized historical lending data (CSV exports) that you voluntarily upload for forensic analysis. This may include application IDs, transaction timestamps, guarantor details, disbursement records, device metadata, IP logs, etc. never including clear PII (Aadhaar, PAN, full name, mobile number, etc.) unless you explicitly include it (which we strongly discourage).

We do not collect:

  • Sensitive personal data (financial account numbers, passwords, biometric data)

  • Live transaction streams

  • Real-time customer PII

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to inquiries, schedule demos, or provide pilot analysis

  • To perform offline forensic graph analysis and generate risk reports (using only the data you provide)

  • To improve our website and services (aggregated, anonymized analytics only)

  • To comply with legal obligations (e.g., responding to lawful requests from authorities)

We never use your data for marketing, profiling, or third-party advertising.

3. Data Processing & Storage

  • Offline & private deployment: All pilot analysis is performed in a secure, offline environment. No client data is uploaded to our servers or cloud platforms.

  • Data retention: Pilot data is processed temporarily and deleted immediately after the analysis is complete and the report is delivered (unless you request otherwise). Website logs are retained for up to 12 months for security purposes.

  • No third-party sharing: We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes. Limited access may be granted only to authorized personnel under strict confidentiality for analysis purposes.

4. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect data, including:

  • Encryption for data in transit (HTTPS)
